Hi all,

Fatih Özbakan, out Turkish partner, has made these suggestion to the European Added Value section, but I think some of them are already covered in our first description. Let’s see if we all agree::

Students:

———-
PROPOSAL 1: Promote the use of other languages

ALREADY IN THE DRAFT: Give the opportunity to use other languages as a means of comunication with students from other countries.

———-

PROPOSAL 2: Help to form students teams.

MY OPINION: Forming teams have nothing to do with European Added Value, in my opinion.

———-

PROPOSAL 3: Increase student motivation and broaden horizons.

ALREADY IN THE PROJECT: Broaden our student’s view of Europe, getting them out of their usual limits and borders.

MY PROPOSAL: Broaden our student’s view of Europe and increase their motivation getting them out of their usual limits and borders.

———-

PROPOSAL 4: Real use of new technologies (ICT) (Internet, e-mail, video conferencing)

MY OPINION: I don’t think that is European Added Value

———-

Teachers:

PROPOSAL 5: Help the professional development of teachers.

MY OPINION: I don’t think that alone is European Added Value. Perhaps we could combine it with the last of the proposals:

Help to raise the level of competence especially in other languages and in information and communication technology.

MY PROPOSAL: Help the professional development of teacher raising their level of competence, especially in other languages, cultures and methodologies.

———-

PROPOSAL 6, 7 and 8:
- Possibility to travel and get to know other schools.
- Help to build teacher teams.
- Increase the motivation of teachers and widen horizons.

ALREADY IN THE DRAFT:
- Know different educational systems (methodologies, resources, instruments…)
- Establish personal links with students, teachers, families and institutions from other schools.
- Discover and know other European countries cultural elements such as the gifts consumption, traditional toys and games, food, folklore, road safety, etc.

MY PROPOSAL:
- Increase the motivation of teachers and widen their horizons by discovering different educational systems (methodologies, resources, instruments…) sharing activities and travelling

———-

PROPOSAL 9: Use of new technologies (ICT) (Internet, e-mail, video…)

MY OPINION: Again, I don’t think ICT has to do with European Added Value
